14" Paiste PST 5 Medium Crash Cymbal
14" PST 5 Medium crash cymbal by Paiste in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, open tone with washy attack, versatile and affordable.
Product Description
The PST 5 Medium Crash 14" from Paiste is an all-around cymbal made from CuSn8 bronze alloy (the same base recipe used in Paiste's higher-end series, here in a more affordable execution). It delivers a clear, clean and open tone with a washy attack and lively intensity, suited to most styles of music at any volume, including live use.
The PST 5 series is built on the same bronze alloy used in Paiste's finer series, CuSn8 Bronze (also known as "2002 bronze"), but in a simpler, more budget-friendly execution. The series combines Swiss cymbal expertise with German engineering, described by Paiste as a strong balance between price and quality.
Sound Character
The cymbal has a medium thickness and suits medium to loud volume. The attack is washy and the intensity lively, giving an energetic, clear sound. It features an integrated bell.
