Product Description
The Performance II from Aquarian is a two-ply drumhead built for low-tuned toms with thick, fat tone and plenty of punch. It's the head behind the classic rock sound, and it can make even a small or budget-friendly kit sound big and powerful.
The head is made using Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process," a manufacturing method that eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies. The result is a more even and consistent head throughout.
Construction
Performance II consists of two 7 mil plies. The plies are sealed only at the edges, which tames unwanted overtones and shifts focus toward the low frequencies. This makes the head especially well suited to low tuning, where it delivers the fattest sound possible.
Who It's For
