The Aquarian Modern Vintage II 14" is a drum head with a special vintage texture coating that gives it the look, feel and warmth of a simulated calfskin head. The two 7 mil plies add depth and durability, with a resonant, full-frequency tone that works just as well on toms as on snare drums.

Tone and Feel

The coating is somewhat thicker than on many other heads, which contributes to the soft feel and the low, warm tone. The result is a resonant head with a full-frequency sound. Big and open on toms and bass drums, with extra low end when mounted on a snare drum.
