Product Description
The Paiste Masters Thin Hi-Hat 14" is a hand-crafted hi-hat in CuSn20 bronze (Traditional Bronze) from the Paiste Masters series. It delivers a warm, full and complex sound suited to jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country, from low to high volume, live and in the studio.
The Masters series began as a range of top-tier ride cymbals and was expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crashes of the same craftsmanship. Every cymbal is hand-made and unique, in keeping with Paiste's own words: "Every Cymbal A Masterpiece".
Sound Character
The sound is warm, full, deep and complex, with a wide range across the tonal spectrum. The stick attack is soft with soft intensity, the bell is lively, and the chick sound sits at a medium level. Volume ranges from low to medium loud.
Construction
The top cymbal is thin, the bottom cymbal medium thin. The alloy is CuSn20, also known as Traditional Bronze.
