The Paiste Masters Dark Hi-Hat is a hand-crafted 14" hi-hat from the Paiste Masters series, made from CuSn20 bronze alloy (Traditional Bronze). It delivers a warm, full and complex sound with a wide range of tonal colours, suited for jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country at low to medium-loud volumes.
The Masters series began as a line of top-tier ride cymbals. In 2014 it was expanded to include hi-hats and crash models of the same high standard, and every cymbal is hand-crafted and unique.
Sound and Feel
The sound is warm, deep and full, with a complex tonal character. The attack is soft, with a velvety intensity, and a medium bell that keeps the click balanced rather than piercing.
