14" Istanbul Agop Traditional Trash Hit Effects Cymbal
14" effects cymbal by Istanbul Agop, Traditional Series. Fast, trashy attack with a fairly quick decay.
Product Description
The 14" Traditional Trash Hit from Istanbul Agop is an effects cymbal with a unique, creatively lathed outer edge that gives it a warped, malleable quality. Smaller sizes sound like a cross between a splash and a china, while larger sizes lean toward a crash/china/swish blend, with a fast trashy attack and a fairly quick decay.
The unique and creative lathing process on the outer edge gives it its warped and malleable quality, producing a fast, trashy attack when struck, followed by a fairly quick decay. Ideal as a distinct accent within a groove.
Construction and sound
Traditional Series cymbals are completely lathed on top and bottom, producing rich and warm overtones and a highly musical presence. The series is available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of tonal choices to complement any style of music.
