Product Description
14" Special Edition hi-hats from Istanbul Agop, designed to capture the qualities of two of the brand's most popular jazz cymbals: the Mel Lewis and Agop Signature Series. The result is a hi-hat pair with dark, complex tone and a smoother high end.
The top cymbal features a unique, vintage lathing pattern, while the bottom cymbal has a very light, Agop Signature style lathing. Together, these two lathing patterns combine dark and complex overtones with a smoother high end.
Despite the dark, layered character, the hi-hats retain clear stick definition, making them easy to play precisely across a range of dynamics, particularly in jazz settings.
