Product Description
14" hi-hats from Istanbul Agop's Epoch signature series, developed together with Lenny White. They're heavy and dark in character yet easily controlled, with a very clear and pronounced chick when closed with the pedal. A good choice if you want a dark, controlled hi-hat with clear response.
The Epoch series was developed in collaboration with Lenny White and heavily inspired by a ride cymbal given to Wallace Roney by the late, great Tony Williams, a cymbal Lenny himself used to play while working with Wallace. That musical heritage carries through the whole line: heavy, dark and direct.
Sound and Feel
These hi-hats deliver a heavy, dark foundation that still stays controllable across dynamics. The chick is clear and pronounced, making the hi-hat dependable even at lower volumes or when you need a precise timekeeping sound in the groove.
