The Aquarian Hi-Performance Snare Resonant (model HPSN14, item no. AQHPSN14) is a crystal-clear, ultra-thin 3 mil snare-side head built for a lively, responsive snare buzz. It features a built-in protective strip right where the snare wires touch the head, so a broken wire won't tear the head prematurely.

Thin snare-side heads usually give the most sensitive and open snare response, but they're also more prone to damage if a snare wire breaks and starts wearing against the head. Aquarian has addressed this with a reinforced strip placed exactly where the snare wires touch the head, so a broken wire doesn't mean a ruined head. That means you can swap out a worn snare strainer or wires without having to replace the resonant head as well.

The crystal-clear, ultra-thin material delivers an open, sensitive snare buzz with fast response – great if you want plenty of life and sensitivity on the bottom of your snare drum, regardless of musical style.
