Product Description
The Evans EC2S is an easy-tuning drum head with a built-in EC Control Ring, giving you overtone control right out of the box. It's a further development of earlier EC models, built for drummers who want a head that sounds good with no extra dampening needed.
Compared to the previous model, the EC2S offers a more open tone in the smaller sizes, while the larger sizes get better control over overtones thanks to the control ring. That makes it a solid choice whichever drum you mount it on, giving you a balanced tone without having to tame unwanted overtones by hand.
The surface is Frosted, giving the head a matte look and a slightly warmer, softer base tone compared to a clear head.
