The Evans Genera HD Dry (B14HDD) is a coated 14" snare head with a built-in dampening ring and small vent holes called Dry Vents. Together they give you a drier, more controlled sound without losing response – a solid pick if you'd rather not add your own dampening.

The thin dampening ring is built into the head itself, cutting down unwanted overtones and sympathetic buzz while still keeping the head responsive. The Dry Vents dry out the tone even further.
