The Dunnett Res-O-Tone Ambassador Hazy is a drumhead made from timpani film, based on one of the most popular drumheads ever made – the Remo Ambassador Coated. The result is a clean, open, unmuffled tone with a feel that's different yet familiar to anyone who's played a coated Ambassador.

The head is manufactured by Remo USA exclusively for Dunnett, using uncoated timpani film. It gives you the same feel and response as a regular Ambassador, but without the coating's dampening effect on the tone. The result is a more open, more resonant sound with a softer response against the stick.

Sound Character

Res-O-Tone has an exceptional tension range and works across the entire tuning register of your drum, making it flexible whatever tuning you're aiming for. If you normally play a coated head on the batter side, for example for brush work, using Res-O-Tone on the resonant side can give the drum a bigger, more open tone without compromising the feel on the batter side.
