The Paiste Color Sound 900 Purple Sound Edge Hi-Hat is a 14" hi-hat in a bold purple finish, made from CuSn20 alloy. It delivers a warm, full and dynamic sound with a clear attack and a bright chick sound, working equally well on stage and in the studio across most musical styles.

Like the rest of the Color Sound 900 series, it is first machine-made and then hand-hammered. The color coating gives it a slightly darker and more controlled sound than the standard 900 series models, while the purple finish makes it easy to spot on stage or in the studio.
