14" Evans UV1 - Coated
Evans 14'' Coated UV1, single-ply head of 10 mil film with Level 360 Technology for good fit.
Product Description
Evans 14'' Coated UV1 is a single-ply head of 10 mil film with UV-processed coating. Level 360 Technology gives good fit, a wide tuning range and heads that are easy to tune.
Sound
The head gives a dynamic sound with a brilliant top end and a full bottom end. The tone is open and dynamic, with good top end and warm bottom end.
Feel
Playing slightly off-centre brings out nice overtones with a clear identity. Playing harder gives a rounder attack, like a head with two plies.
Tuning
Tuned low, the head has a softer attack with good bottom end. Tuned higher, the sound becomes more focused with a tight attack and a full core.
Use
The head suits a variety of musical contexts.
