Construction

The head is built from two plies of Remo film (model PS-0314-00), with a thin ring of trapped air between them acting as built-in dampening. This gives the head a shorter decay and a tighter, more controlled tone compared to a single-ply head, without needing muffle rings or gel added separately.

That construction makes the Pinstripe Clear predictable and easy to tune: you get a tight, punchy character right away instead of chasing the right dampening with loose accessories after mounting.
