Product Description
The Evans EC2S is an easy-tuning drum head with a built-in EC Control Ring, made for drummers who want control without the hassle. Compared to the previous model, the EC2S offers a more open tone in smaller sizes and better overtone control in larger sizes.
The Control Ring construction dampens excess overtones right at the head's edge, making it quicker to tune to a focused sound without adding extra muffling. On smaller toms this results in a more open, lively tone compared to the earlier generation, while larger sizes get a tighter, more controlled character from the same ring.
This head is supplied in a Clear finish in the 14" size.
