Craftsmanship

Byzance cymbals are cast at Meinl's Turkish factory using traditional methods. Lathed series such as Traditional are then hand-lathed. The raw cymbals are sent to Meinl's German factory for quality control, sorting and finishing. The combination of Turkish craftsmanship and German quality control is key to Byzance's warm sound and consistently high standard.
