• Great dynamics. Tone and volume respond to your touch
• Broad sound spectrum suited to rock, pop, fusion, latin and more
• Works well both on the drum kit and in percussion setups

Construction

The cymbal is hand-hammered in B20 bronze, 80% copper and 20% tin, with a traditional finish and hand-lathed top and bottom surfaces. The Byzance series is made at Meinl's Turkish factory using traditional craftsmanship: the cast blank is heated, rolled and cooled through a carefully proven process before the bell is shaped and the cymbal is hand-hammered into form. The raw cymbals are then sent to Meinl's German factory for quality control, sorting and finishing. It's the interplay between Turkish craftsmanship and German quality control that gives Byzance its warm sound and consistently high standard.

Who It's For

A great crash for players who want a warm, controllable tone with good dynamic range across musical styles. From rock and pop to fusion and latin.
