The American Vintage Thin from Aquarian is a thin, texture-coated single-ply head that delivers a responsive, resonant tone with sticks, mallets and brushes. The coating is extremely thin yet remarkably durable, making this head a great option if you want the sensitive, traditional character of a single-ply head without sacrificing lifespan.

Sound and Response

The Z-100 coating is one of the thinnest and most durable coatings ever developed by Aquarian. Unlike conventional coatings, it resists flaking and lasts for a very long time, while still delivering the consistent tone, increased resonance and sensitive response drummers expect from a traditional single-ply head.

Construction and Tuning

The head's Safe-T-Loc hoop, combined with Aquarian's Sound Curve collar, makes tuning remarkably easy. The combination also gives excellent stick response and reduces the chance of the head slipping in the hoop during play.
