Product Description
The Paiste 2002 Crash is one of the most iconic cymbals in rock history – the sound that has shaped generations of drummers since its launch in 1971. This 14" crash delivers a brilliant, clear and powerful attack with high energy and strong projection, at home in everything from classic rock to modern metal.
The cymbal is cast from CuSn8 alloy, often referred to as "2002 Bronze", and has a medium thickness that balances quick response with power. The sound is washy and lively with clear intensity, while the integrated bell adds extra definition to the attack. This makes it suitable across a medium soft to loud volume range – strong enough to cut through distorted guitars without losing musicality.
