13" Aquarian Jack DeJohnette - Black Texture
Single-ply head with black textured coating for a dry, focused sound, perfect for jazz and fusion.
Product Description
The Jack DeJohnette head from Aquarian is built to capture the drummer's signature dry, focused sound. This single-ply head features a special black textured coating that's slightly thicker than a standard coating, damping overtones and giving a controlled, tight attack. Especially well suited for jazz and fusion, where a clean, distinct sound is essential.
The black textured surface is designed to enhance the head's sound properties rather than just serve as a visual finish. The slightly thicker coating makes the tone drier and more focused than a standard head, giving a clear attack without excess low-end resonance. The head measures 13" and works as either a tom head or a snare head depending on your setup.
