The Aquarian Hi-Frequency Coated 13" is a thin, single-ply tom head with fast response and a bright, open character. It's primarily intended as a resonant (bottom) head for toms, but can also be used as a batter head if you play with a light touch and want the fastest-responding head available.
The 7-mil thin Nu-Brite film brings out higher frequencies in the drum and produces a brighter response whether used as a batter head or as a resonant head on toms.
