Product Description
The Evans EC2S Frosted is an easy-tuning tom head with a built-in EC Control Ring, an update to the popular EC series. The ring tames unwanted overtones without stripping away the head's natural tone, so you get a good sound quickly without a long tuning session.
Compared to the previous model, the EC2S has a refined construction: smaller sizes get a more open, resonant tone, while larger sizes benefit from tighter overtone control. That makes the series more consistent across the whole tom range, whether it's mounted on a small rack tom or a large floor tom. The frosted coating gives a softer attack and a warmer tonal character compared to a clear head.
