The Evans Genera G1 13" is a single-ply, coated drumhead delivering a warm, open tone with excellent sensitivity to light strokes. It's a classic choice for drummers who want natural response and a full sound without needing a head built for very hard hitting.
Genera G1 is one of Evans' best-known head series, built from a single layer of film for an open, resonant sound with plenty of overtones. The coating tames the sharpest overtones just enough while giving a pleasant surface for brush work.
