13" Dunnett Classic Drums Res-O-Tone Ambassador - Hazy

Product Description

The Dunnett Res-O-Tone is a patented tympani-film drum head, made by Remo exclusively for Dunnett and based on one of the world's most popular heads, the Remo Ambassador Coated. This 13" head suits both toms and snares, giving you the same feel and response as an Ambassador, but without any coating.

• Clean, open and unmuffled tone
• Tympani film characteristics give a different yet familiar feel
• Exceptional tuning range across the drum's whole register
• Softer stick response
• Unique semi-transparent Hazy finish
• Made in the USA

Tone and feel

Res-O-Tone is built from tympani film rather than standard coated mylar. This gives a clean, open tone with an unusually wide tuning range, allowing the head to perform well across the drum's entire register. It also gives a softer response under the stick compared to a standard head.

Batter or resonant side

If you normally play a coated head on the batter side, for example with brushes, you can still use Res-O-Tone on the resonant side, giving the drum a bigger, more open overall tone.

Who it's for

This head suits players who want to try a different tonal character than the classic coated head, without losing the response and feel that made the Ambassador so popular. Available in sizes from 8" to 18".
