13" Evans Genera - Coated
The best of both worlds. A thin underside dampening ring gives double-ply fullness without losing the clarity of rim shots.
Product Description
The Evans Coated Genera 13" is a single-ply drum head with a thin underside dampening ring, combining the best of both worlds. It delivers the fuller, more controlled tone of a double-ply head without sacrificing the clarity of rim shots.
The coated surface gives a warm attack and works well with both sticks and brushes. Thanks to the built-in dampening, the tone is more controlled than on a standard single-ply head, while still keeping a responsive, lively feel.
