12" Wuhan Wind Gong Cymbal
12" Wind Gong from Wuhan with fast response and radiant shimmer. Thin, fully lathed surface.
Product Description
The Wuhan Wind Gong, also known as the Feng Gong, is a 12" gong with a thin profile and fully lathed surface, delivering an immediate, crash-like burst of sound that fades into a luminous shimmer. A striking choice for percussionists and composers who want both drama and nuance.
The tone is bright and expansive, with a rapid build and smooth decay. A light strike releases a radiant, celestial shimmer, while a forceful strike blooms into a roaring wave of sound that fills the space. Its fast response and wide dynamic range make it one of the most expressive gongs in the Wuhan family. Energetic, ethereal and alive.
