The Remo Diplomat Classic Fit Fiberskyn is a 12" tom head designed for older vintage drums that don't always fit modern heads. A narrower flesh hoop and steeper collar increase the inner diameter while keeping the outer diameter unchanged, so you can keep using the same hoop.

Many older shells, often built before the 1960s, aren't perfectly round or have thicker wrap than today's standard. Regular heads can then be difficult to seat properly. The Classic Fit design solves this by adjusting the head's inner geometry without touching the outer diameter, making mounting easier on drums that otherwise cause trouble.
