Product Description
The Evans Reso7 is a resonant head made from a single ply of 7 mil coated film, designed to give controlled sustain without going dead or muddy. It gives the drum an open tone while acting as a soft gate that shortens the sustain slightly. Available in sizes from 6" to 18".
The film in Reso7 is specially developed to balance openness and control. You get a drum that breathes more than with a thicker resonant head, but without the tone drifting into unmanageable ring.
Level 360 Profile
The head is built with Evans' Level 360 profile, a construction that makes it significantly easier to tune than heads with a traditional profile. Level 360 sits flat against the shell from the start and delivers a good sound right away, without the critical break-in period many heads need before they settle.
