12" Paiste PST X DJs 45 Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The 12" PST X DJs 45 Ride from Paiste is an effects cymbal with a trashy, exotic sound and a built-in bell that gives it its own distinct voice. It's a great choice if you want to add some extra character to your cymbal setup without breaking the bank.

Paiste's PST X series is built for any musical context where you want effects cymbals in a wide range of types, variants and sizes. The DJs 45 Ride is made from an alloy of CuSn20 bronze, MS63 brass and aluminum, giving it a distinct character compared to pure bronze cymbals.

Sound Character

The sound is described as effect-laden, trashy and exotic, with a balanced stick attack and a fairly lively intensity. Volume sits in the low to medium loud range, making the cymbal easy to control in the mix. It has a medium heavy thickness and an integrated bell that adds to the overall sound.

Who It's For

A great option if you want to add an effects cymbal to your regular setup for extra character, without paying flagship prices.
