The Performance II Clear with Power Dot is a two-ply tom head from Aquarian, built to deliver the fattest possible sound at low tunings. The reinforced center dot lets it handle hard hits without losing character, giving you that classic rock drum tone many players love.

The head is made using Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process", which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies. The two 7 mil plies are sealed only at the edges, taming unwanted overtones and shifting the focus toward the low frequencies for a deep, controlled sound rather than a ringy one.

Sound Character

Performance II is designed for low tuning and rewards you with plenty of punch and a full, dark fundamental tone on your toms. That means even a cheap, small drum kit can be made to sound big and powerful – an easy way to get more character out of a simpler kit.

Construction

The Power Dot version adds a reinforced center dot for extra durability and stability under hard hits, while keeping the core tonal qualities of the two 7 mil plies intact.
