12" Istanbul Agop Traditional Trash Hit Effects cymbal

Product Description

The Traditional Trash Hit 12" is an effects cymbal from Istanbul Agop, shaped by a unique, creatively lathed outer edge that gives it a warped, malleable quality. The result is a fast, trashy attack with a fairly quick decay. Great for adding a distinct, characterful accent to your playing.

The warped outer edge means smaller sizes sound like a cross between a splash and a china, while larger sizes lean more towards a blend of crash and china, or swish. At 12", you get a compact, fast effects cymbal with a clearly trashy character.

Construction

This cymbal belongs to the Traditional Series and is completely lathed on both top and bottom, producing rich, warm overtones and a highly musical presence. The Traditional Series is available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of choices to complement any style of music. The specific weight of this model is listed in the specifications below if available.

Who It's For

A great effects cymbal for drummers who want a fast, characterful addition to their setup. An alternative to a standard china or splash when you want more trash and attitude in the sound.
