12" Aquarian Hi-Frequency - Coated
Thin 7 mil single-ply drum head for toms. Ideal resonant head. Also works as batter head with a light touch.
Product Description
The Aquarian Hi-Frequency Coated 12" is a thin, single-ply 7 mil head designed to bring out higher frequencies and give your tom a brighter, faster-responding sound. It's primarily intended as a resonant head, but it also works well as a batter head if you play with a light touch.
The thin 7 mil Nu-Brite film makes the head extremely responsive and produces a noticeably brighter tone compared to thicker heads. Used as a resonant head on toms, it emphasizes the higher frequencies in the drum and gives an open, airy response.
If you want to use it as a batter head, it works fine, but requires a light hand for the head to hold up and perform as intended. It's the most fast-responding option in the lineup.
Appearance
Hi-Frequency is also available in Video Gloss black or white, making it a great choice as a resonant head when you also want a striking visual look on your toms.
