The Aquarian Hi-Frequency Clear 12" is a thin, fast-responding drumhead built from a single 7 mil film. It's designed primarily as a resonant head for toms, but also works as a batter head if you play with a light touch and want a very responsive head.
The 7 mil thin Nu-Brite film brings out higher frequencies from the drum and produces a brighter, more open response compared to thicker heads. Whether used as a batter head or as a resonant head on toms. The thinness lets the head respond quickly to the drum's natural vibration, which many players prefer on the resonant side where minimal dampening of the shell's tone is wanted.
The Hi-Frequency series is also available in Video Gloss black or white for players who want a striking look on the underside of their toms. This version, Clear, delivers the same bright response in a clear, transparent finish.
