12" Paiste Color Sound 900 Splash Cymbal - Purple Splash

Product Description

The Paiste Color Sound 900 Purple Splash is a 12" splash cymbal with a distinctive purple color coating that gives it a slightly darker, more controlled sound than the standard 900 series. The cymbal is machine-made at its core but hand-hammered in the final stage, delivering a warm, full, and dynamic sound suited for both live and studio use.

Sound and Feel

The CuSn20 alloy combined with the thin construction gives the cymbal a washy attack with lively intensity. Volume sits in the medium low to medium loud range, making it easy to control in most settings. The integrated bell adds a clear complement to the open, colored tone.

Construction and Finish

The color coating that gives the cymbal its Purple Splash look slightly subdues the tone compared to the uncoated 900 series, resulting in a more controlled, darker sound without losing warmth and fullness.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a splash cymbal with personality, both in sound and looks, for any genre or musical context, whether you're playing live or recording in the studio.
