12" Paiste Color Sound 900 Splash Cymbal - Blue Splash

Product Description

Color Sound 900 Blue Splash is a 12" splash cymbal from Paiste's colorful Color Sound 900 series, finished in a striking blue. It shares its core construction with the standard 900 series, but the color coating gives it a slightly darker and more controlled sound. A great choice if you want a distinctive, characterful addition to your setup for both live and studio use.

Sound Character

The cymbal is cast from CuSn20 bronze and has a thin profile, giving it a warm, full, and dynamic sound. The stick response is washy with a lively intensity, and the volume sits in the medium low to medium loud range. Enough to be heard without overpowering the mix. The bell is integrated into the cymbal, contributing to its cohesive sound.

Construction

Like the rest of the 900 series, Color Sound 900 cymbals are machine-made at their core, then hand-hammered as a finishing step. This hand-hammering combined with the color coating gives the cymbal its darker, more controlled character compared to the untreated 900 series.

Who It's For

Suited for players in any genre or musical context, on stage or in the studio, who want to stand out with a colorful cymbal without compromising on sound.
