12" Remo Controlled Sound - Coated
Extra thick single-ply head with black dot. Dampened sound with controlled overtones for a cleaner tone.
Product Description
The Remo Controlled Sound is an extra thick single-ply drum head with a black dampening dot on the underside. The design controls overtones and delivers a dampened, focused sound without fully choking the attack.
- Extra thick, durable single-ply film
- Coated surface for a warmer, drier tone
- Black dot on the underside dampens overtones
- Delivers a controlled, focused sound
Sound Character
Thanks to the built-in dampening dot, the drum produces a shorter, more concentrated sound with fewer ringing overtones. That makes this head a good choice if you want a cleaner, more studio-friendly tone without adding extra dampening by hand.
Who It's For
Suited for players who want a durable head with built-in overtone control, rather than an open, resonant sound.
