Product Description
Classic Clear Gloss Black is a single-ply, 10 mil (medium weight) tom head from Aquarian's Nu-Brite range. It works equally well as a batter head or a resonant head, making it a safe first choice for any tom.
As a batter head it delivers a wide-open, full sound with strong attack and long sustain. Used as a resonant head instead, it gives the drum a warm, clean tone without choking the sound.
Don't overlook the resonant head
Resonant heads are too often neglected, yet they have a major effect on a drum's tone. A poorly made or poorly tuned bottom head can kill the tone of the drum completely, no matter how good the batter head is. Classic Clear works great on either side for that reason.
