Product Description
Classic Clear is one of Aquarian's best-selling single-ply heads – a medium-thickness head that works equally well as a batter or resonant head. As a batter head it delivers a wide open, full-bodied tone with plenty of attack and sustain. As a resonant head it produces a warm, clean tone without choking the drum's natural sound.
Two roles, one head
This 10 mil thick head is finished with Aquarian's Nu-Brite coating. Used as a batter head, it opens up the drum with clear attack and long sustain. Resonant heads are often overlooked, but they have a major effect on a drum's tone – a poorly made or poorly tuned resonant head will kill the drum's tone no matter how good the batter head is. Used as a resonant head, Classic Clear gives a warm, clean tone that lets the drum's full potential be heard, without choking the sustain.
