Sound Character

The B8X O-Zone isn't your typical crash. Sabian describes it as a crude and aggressive combination of a thin crash and a Chinese, delivering an even attack that's aggressive, raw and nasty, with a bright explosion and dirty agitation.

Construction

It shares the same multi-holed design found on HHX and AAX O-Zone crashes, but with a double 8-hole ring totaling sixteen holes, each 1.5" in diameter. The holes lighten the cymbal's overall weight, which speeds up the response since there's less metal mass to move, while size and volume remain unchanged.
