12" Paiste 900 Series Splash Cymbal

Product Description

12" splash cymbal from Paiste's 900 Series, made from CuSn20 alloy. A hybrid cymbal where machine forming is combined with hand-hammering in the final stage, giving a well-built, great-sounding cymbal at a good price.

• CuSn20 alloy, the same alloy type used in Paiste 2002
• Thickness: thin
• Integrated bell
• Washy stick sound with lively intensity
• Medium low to medium loud volume

Sound Character

The 900 Series delivers a warm, full and dynamic sound. The stick attack is washy with a lively intensity, and the integrated bell adds extra character to the overall sound. Volume sits in the mid-range, from medium low to medium loud, making the cymbal easy to control in different settings.

Construction

The cymbal is initially formed by machine but finished with hand-hammering, a process typical of the 900 Series that combines consistent quality with the character hand-hammering brings to the sound.

Who It's For

A great splash for players who want short, distinct accents in their playing, whether on stage or in the studio. Suits most genres and musical contexts.
