The Evans Genera HD Dry Rock ETP-HDD-R is a complete tom head pack in 10", 12" and 16", built for players who want a damped, full-bodied sound without losing attack. It works just as well for a fat ballad snare-like feel on toms as for aggressive metal.

Construction

Genera HDD is a two-ply head with a 7.5 mil inner ply and a 5 mil outer ply. On the underside, a 2 mil dampening ring is bonded directly to the head. Around the edge, precision-drilled Dry Vents work together with the dampening to give a full tone, reduce overtones, and add flexibility and balance to the head's response.

Level 360 profile

These heads use Evans' Level 360 profile, which makes them noticeably easier to tune than many other brands. A Level 360 head sits flat against the drum's bearing edge from the moment it's mounted, delivering a usable sound right away instead of the unpredictable break-in period common with other heads.
