Product Description
Super-2 is a transparent two-ply drum head built for players who want strong attack, projection and depth. It works especially well for rock and hard rock, where you need the drum to cut through the mix.
The head is made from two plies, 7 mil and 5 mil respectively, using Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process". This process prevents air from getting trapped between the plies, giving you a fuller, more consistent tone compared to heads where trapped air disrupts the sound.
Construction
The patented Safe-T-Loc ring keeps the head securely seated and stops it from slipping on the hoop during hard playing. The Sound Curve edge is designed for "Responsive Tuning" – a bearing edge that responds quickly and clearly as you tune, so you find the right pitch faster.
