Product Description
The Aquarian Super-2 Clear With Studio-X Ring is a transparent two-ply, 10" tom head built for strong attack, projection and depth. The built-in Studio-X ring controls overtones for a focused, controlled tone right out of the box.
The head combines two plies of mylar, 7 mil and 5 mil. Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process" is used to manufacture the plies so no air becomes trapped between them, giving a fuller tone than many other two-ply heads.
Construction and tuning
The patented Safe-T-Loc ring keeps the head from slipping during play or tuning. The Sound Curve edge is shaped for what Aquarian calls "Responsive Tuning". A more even response around the entire hoop when the drum is tuned.
