10" Evans Hydraulic - Red

Product Description

Evans Hydraulic Red 10" is a two-ply oil drumhead with red transparent film. The head gives control and a short, full sound with a more open attack and more energy than its sister heads in the Hydraulic series.

Construction

The head is built from two layers of oil film in a red transparent finish, with drops of oil visible on the surface. The technology behind the head is called Hydraulic, a construction with oil between the film layers that dampens overtones and gives a short, compressed sound.

Sound and Feel

The tone is fat and compressed, with a dugg sound that comes through even when the head is tuned to a fingertight pitch. Compared with the sister heads Hydraulic Glass, Blue and Black, Red gives a more open attack and more energy in the stroke.

Finish

The red transparent film has visible drops of oil as part of the finish. A gold logo on the head gives it a touch of 1970s glitter and glamour.

Fits

The head comes in sizes that fit toms from 6" to 20" as well as bass drums in 20" and 22".
