10" Paiste Formula 602 Modern Essentials Splash Cymbal

Product Description

The 10" Formula 602 Modern Essentials Splash from Paiste is a modern take on the classic 602 series, developed in collaboration with Vinnie Colaiuta. Hand-crafted from CuSn20 (602 bronze) alloy, it delivers a musical, deep, warm and dark sound with plenty of body. The thin build and integrated bell make it unusually dynamic for a splash cymbal.

• Musical, deep and warm sound with a dark character
• Thin build for fast response
• Washy attack sound with lively intensity
• Integrated bell
• Low to medium loud volume, suited for both studio and stage

Sound Character

The tone is musical and full, with a washy attack that gives the cymbal life without becoming overpowering. Volume sits in the low to medium loud range, making it easy to control dynamically across most music genres.

Construction

The cymbal is cast from CuSn20 alloy, the same 602 bronze used in the classic Formula 602 series, and is hand-crafted by Paiste. The build is thin, and the bell is integrated into the cymbal, contributing to its lively, dynamic attack.

Who It's For

A versatile splash for players in the rehearsal room, studio or on stage who want a warm, musical addition to their existing cymbal setup, regardless of genre.
