Product Description
The Aquarian Force Ten Coated is a heavy-duty drum head built for larger drums and hard-hitting drummers. Two plies of 10-mil Nu-Brite film give the head a powerful attack, added depth and a faster decay than many other heads.
The construction uses Aquarian's patented Safe-T-Loc ring, which keeps the head from slipping on the hoop. The Sound Curve Collar design is built for what Aquarian calls "Responsive Tuning". A tuning collar meant to give more even response across the head when tuning.
Thanks to the double plies and heavy-duty build, the Force Ten Coated suits drummers who play hard and want a head that holds up without losing control of the tone. The head is also available in a smooth (uncoated) version. This one is coated, giving a slightly warmer tone and a somewhat softer attack sound compared to the smooth version.
