10" Paiste Color Sound 900 Splash Cymbal - Purple Splash
10" splash cymbal, Color Sound 900 Purple Splash by Paiste. Warm, full sound in purple, available in four bold colors.
Product Description
The Paiste Color Sound 900 Purple Splash is a 10" splash cymbal in a bold purple finish, part of the Color Sound 900 series available in four vibrant colors. It shares its core construction with the standard 900 series, but the color coating gives it a slightly darker, more controlled sound. A great choice if you want a striking look without compromising on tone.
The cymbal is cast in CuSn20 bronze and initially machine-made, then finished with hand-hammering before the color coating is applied. This results in a thin cymbal with a washy stick sound and a volume between medium low and medium loud.
Sound Character
The sound is described as warm, full, and dynamic, with lively intensity. The bell is integrated into the cymbal and adds a clear complement to the attack.
Use
Suitable for both live and studio use, across all genres and musical contexts.
