10" Evans UV1 - Coated
10'' Coated UV1 from Evans is a single-ply drumhead with 10 mil thick film and UV-processed coating.
Product Description
With Level 360 Technology, the head gets a good fit against the edge of the shell.
Construction
The head is built as a single-ply drumhead with a film thickness of 10 mil. The surface has a UV-processed coating. The construction is based on Level 360 Technology, which makes the head easy to tune across a wide range.
Sound
The head gives a dynamic sound with a brilliant top end and a full bottom. The tone is open and dynamic, with good top end and warm bottom.
Feel
Tuned low, the head gives a softer attack with good bottom and good carrying power in the sound. Tuned high, the sound becomes more focused with a tight attack and a full core. With slightly off-centre playing, attractive overtones come through with a clear identity.
Use
The head suits a wide range of musical contexts.
