10" Meinl Classics Custom Extreme Metal Splash Cymbal - Brilliant

Product Description

The Meinl Classics Custom Extreme Metal Splash is a 10" splash cymbal made from B10 bronze, built to deliver a bright tone with plenty of sustain. Its hand-hammered, pressed construction gives it strong volume and good projection, while still holding up to hard playing. A great choice for metal, rock and studio work where you need a fast, cutting accent above your other cymbals.

Sound Character

The B10 alloy (90% copper, 10% tin) is the same alloy traditionally found in more expensive cymbal series, giving it brilliance and depth. The tone is bright with a medium-high pitch, sustain is high, and while overall volume sits at medium, the cymbal projects with a brilliant, cutting wash. Finish is Brilliant.

Construction

The cymbal is hard-hammered and pressed, produced using Hi-Tech computer-controlled manufacturing for consistent quality. This construction lets it handle hard, aggressive playing without losing its character.

Who It's For

A great splash for metal and rock players who want a bright, distinct accent on top of their groove, and equally useful in the studio where a short, defined sound is needed.
